The GIRLnee Fest

Fics must feature at least one SHINee protagonist who does not identify as a man/male. Biologically female, transsexual and/or transgender MTF, intersex, genderfluid, and agender are all welcome.

The main pairing, if any, must be wlw and SHINee/SHINee. Side pairings can be any sexuality and anyone else, including other celebrities.

Fics must be original. Plagiarism is grounds for expulsion from the fest.

Minimum word count of 500 words. No maximum word count, but all fics must be complete and stand-alone at the time of posting.

Banned topics: Dubcon, noncon/rape, pedophilia, bestiality, underage (under 18) sex, underage drug/alcohol use IF any of these topics are inherent to the plot of the fic, a writer may DM/email the mod to discuss their inclusion, but graphic descriptions will not be allowed.

Writers do not need to prompt to write; prompters do not need to write to prompt.

Prompts need to be original and not taken from other archives unless permission is given.

Any alternate universe (AU), genre, and setting are welcome.

Prompts based on familiar plots (i.e, TV, books, movies, etc.) are acceptable, given proper reference.

Dynamics (top/bottom), specific scene or imagery suggestions, etc. can be listed in the "Preferences/Perks," but the writer is not required to include them.

All prompts are open to the writer's interpretation.

Writers do not need to include the "Preferences/Perks" but must NOT include "Avoid/DNW."

Check-ins will be done via Google Forms. The Form will ask for your AO3 username, email address, prompt number/self-prompt, current word count, and a screenshot of your word count, if you've reached the required 500 words.

The Form will also ask if you have met the required word count or not. If not, an extension can be automatically granted. The extension deadline is November 29.

Writers will post their fics to the AO3 collection themselves unless they wish to remain anonymous after reveals or specifically ask the mod to post on their behalf.

Additional tags are required. We want your fic as visible and accessible as possible, and tags help readers find fics. The mod is willing to help if any writer is confused or uncertain about what or how to tag.
